Strengthen your skills and knowledge and make a positive difference in the lives of infants and toddlers with the Certificate in Early Childhood Education: Infant/Toddler. Observe, assess, plan and guide the development of these children, both individually and in groups. Learn how to manage the operation of a child-care setting and how to confidently communicate and collaborate with children, families and your colleagues all through interactive online classes.
Through a practicum placement, you'll experience learning from theory to practice in a variety of early childhood education settings, including childcare, preschool and others. Graduates are qualified to apply for a provincial license to practise as an Infant/Toddler Educator.
This infant/toddler certificate program is for certificate graduates from an accredited ECE program in B.C. who want an additional post-basic credential in Infant/Toddler ECE.
